If you want to do an easy craft project with your kiddo for Mother’s Day, look no further. Mom and grandma will be delighted with this super cute egg carton flower art, we found via Mod Podge Rocks.

What you need:

Egg carton

Scissors

Buttons

Bright acrylic paint

Glitter paint (optional)

Hot glue gun or glue of your choice

Green pipe cleaners

Ribbon

11” x 14” Canvas

Instructions:

Paint the canvas with the color of your choice. Let it dry.

Cut the egg carton into the flower buds. They don’t have to be perfect. Try to to trim to get the petals shape.

Paint each “flower” with the colors of your choice and let them dry completely.

Add a coat of the glitter paint. This step is optional, but it gives the flowers an extra special glittery touch.

Add some glue to the center of the flowers and glue a button…

Trim the pipe cleaners to make the stems. Try to make a bouquet-looking bunch and tie in with the ribbon of your choice. Glue them to the canvas.

Now add the flowers to the canvas with little dots of glue.
